Position Overview
As a General Worker at VKB Milling, you will perform various tasks to support the smooth operation of the facility.
From maintaining cleanliness to assisting with stock management, your role will contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.

Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, your duties will include:
1. Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Ensure general tidiness and cleanliness of the premises.
- Perform cleaning duties and maintain a safe working environment.
2. Stock Management
- Assist with loading and offloading stock following company policies.
- Support stock control processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Customer Assistance
- Provide support to customers and suppliers during loading and offloading.
- Ensure excellent service by addressing customer needs professionally.
4. Ad Hoc Duties
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management to meet operational needs.
5. Night Shift and Extended Hours
- Be willing to work a 6-day work week and perform night shifts as required.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education and Skills
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Painting experience is advantageous.
Attributes and Abilities
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour.
- Good practical skills and dexterity.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail and time management.
Work Schedule
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday (6-day work week).
- Availability for night shifts.
